Summit Student Ministry exists to partner with families to lead students into a growing relationship with Jesus. Our hope is to be a community that middle schoolers, high schoolers, and their families can belong to and thrive in during the teenage years of life. Through weekly programming and annual events, we build authentic relationships that go beyond a set program time with students and their families that lead to growing relationships with Jesus.
What We Do
Sunday Night Live
Sunday Nights 5-7:30pm
Wednesday Nights 6:30-8pm
“Read your bible.” “Have a quiet time.” We hear people tell us these things all the time and we know we should do it. But if we’re honest…many of us don’t know where to start or what to do. This 5 week study will help you feel more confident when it comes to reading the Bible and spending time with God!
Summer is Awesome!

In Summit Student Ministry, we believe all of life is a mission trip. Jesus has given us a clear mission to love and serve people and make disciples everywhere we go. Our schools, our neighborhoods, our extra-curricular activities are all mission fields.
While it is important to see ourselves as missionaries in all of the normal, everyday stuff of life, it is just as important to be intentional and get out of our normal routines to GO and SERVE people that we may not normally run into on a daily basis. This is why we offer specific opportunities to GO and SERVE both locally and internationally.
Every Wednesday night (6:00-8:00), Summit Community Church serves and builds relationships with our neighbors at the Andrade Center. At the Andrade Center, students have the opportunity to help elementary age children with their homework, play games, and serve dinner. Students and their families who want to get involved at the Andrade Center can find out more information by submitting the below form.
Over the years, Summit Community Church has developed a great partnership with a ministry in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Morganton has a large Guatemalan population so we have found that going to Guatemala City and loving our neighbors there has grown our desire to love our Guatemalan neighbors here. We believe that these short term, international mission experiences are some of the greatest opportunities we offer for students to grow in their faith.
Every summer, there are multiple opportunities to go with a team to Guatemala City.
