Annual Church Check-up

Facts and Figures as We Prepare for the Future

17 Instruct those who are rich in the present age not to be arrogant or to set their hope on the uncertainty of wealth, but on God, who richly provides us with all things to enjoy. 18 Instruct them to do what is go to be rich in good works, to be generous and willing to share, 19 storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of what is truly life. (1 Timothy 6:17-19).
An excerpt from the October 16, 2022 message by Pastor Mike Chandler --
"We need this challenge to do what is good, to be rich in good works, to store up treasure, and taking hold of what is truly life as good managers of all God has given to us - our time, our talents and our treasures.
"Summit Community Church and the Church all across the United State - of every denomination, every demographic, in towns and cities, both large and small - have seen a dramatic shift in attendance and giving since the pandemic. In sharing where we are today, this is not saying our goal is to get back to where we were before the pandemic - that is not even a goal! The reality is we are who are today. It is our desire to be all we can be and ought to be as the Body of Christ both inside and outside these walls.

"What follows is a check-up of who we were, who we are, and a challenge for who we could be and should be for God's glory as the Body of Christ to each other and to all others.
